JOB DESCRIPTION:

An Account Manager manages our clients Amazon ads including research, ad creation, optimization, and scaling. This role includes other components of book marketing including sales page, metadata, and overall marketing optimization. Additionally, an Account Manager serves as liaison between the client and the Author Ad Agency team, while offering their clients coaching through email communication and scheduled Zoom check-in sessions.

You'll be on the cutting edge of book marketing in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment, working closely with an innovative team of authors to support our author clientele.

COMPENSATION:

This is a freelance position with up to 10-15 hours per week of anticipated work during the training period, and the option to expand depending on the number of clients you would like to support. Compensation will start at $18 per hour for training. Following training, client accounts are paid at a per-client rate.


RESPONSIBILIITES:

  • Assess, create, and optimize Amazon ads for multiple clients
  • Communicate with our clients on a daily basis
  • Maintain meticulous client records and processes
  • Learn and collaborate with fellow Account Managers to grow our knowledge and services

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • A positive attitude and desire to be part of a supportive team
  • The ability to work and communicate in a virtual environment utilizing Slack, Zoom, and Email
  • An eye for, and the enjoyment of, analyzing data on platforms like Amazon Ads
  • A desire for helping authors and previous experience with teaching authors in a formal or informal setting
  • Personal experience in writing one or more fiction or nonfiction series released through the KDP platform
  • Experience with running ads on the Amazon Ads Platform
  • An interest in continuous learning from and with our team to expand marketing knowledge
  • A desire to slow down writing pace and have more consistent income, while still being closely involved in the publishing world
  • 10-15 hours of availability per week

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Cumulative lifetime six-figures in book sales
  • Have studied the methods taught in the Author Ad Profit Challenge, Author Ad School, or the Author Ad School Coaching programs
